True Nature Integrative Wellness is the online naturopathic practice of Dr. Olivia Shelton, a naturopathic doctor and public health specialist who helps women heal the root causes behind gut issues, skin conditions & nervous system dysregulation. The brand is built around a simple but powerful philosophy: that disconnection from nature and disconnection from self are the same thing, and that the road back to health runs through both science and the natural world.
Strategy
Before a single visual decision was made, the project began with deep strategic work : developing the brand foundations from scratch. This included defining True Nature's positioning at the intersection of science and nature, identifying the primary audience (high-achieving women exhausted by optimization culture) and articulating the core insight that drives everything: your body isn't broken, it's just been disconnected. The visual identity was built to express that strategy, not just decorate it.
Visual Identity
The palette grounds the brand in the natural world without leaning into predictable wellness greens. Smoked Plum and Worn Clay bring warmth and depth, while Linen and Moon Mist keep it airy and uncluttered. Typography pairs Tan Grandeur's organic, almost hand-drawn elegance with Juana's refined serif structure and Fira Code's quiet technical credibility. Together they hold the "science-meets-nature" tension at the heart of the brand. The logomark's fluid, continuous line, somewhere between a plant tendril and a cursive gesture, was extended into a repeating pattern and frieze, giving the brand a proprietary visual texture that feels alive without feeling decorative.
